Decompression
Spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc.
CONSULTATION
The first step will be a private consultation with Dr. Gunn. At this time you can freely explain what is going on and Dr. Gunn will listen to you and your needs. Typically, the patient knows more about what is going on than any test can tell so, this is a vital step.

Massage Therapy
Massage goes hand-in-hand with chiropractic care. An adjustment will increase blood flow, release toxins, and improve the structure. A massage will then pull the blood and toxins out for your body to rid itself of them. In addition, it will help your muscles to relax and accept the new positioning from your adjustments. Tight muscles are often a major part of the problem; pulling things out when they should stay put. We recommend both massage and chiropractic care
ADJUSTMENTS
Dr. Gunn has seen great success treating soft tissue injuries of the neck, knee, back, and more. He uses a hands-on, natural process that will ease your body back to its better days. The chiropractic treatment is gradual in order to give your body time to accept the new positioning and hold it; but even so it is quicker than surgery and significantly less money.
APPLIED KINESIOLOGY
Also known as muscle strength testing, is a method of diagnosis and treatment based on the belief that various muscles are linked to particular organs and glands, and that specific muscle weakness can signal distant internal problems such as nerve damage, reduced blood supply, chemical imbalances or other organ or gland problems.
ORTHOTICS
Foot orthoses comprise a custom made insert or footbed fitted into a shoe. Commonly referred to as “orthotics” these orthoses provide support for the foot by redistributing ground reaction forces as well as realigning foot joints while standing, walking or running.

About Us…
A 3rd generation Chiropractor –
Dr. Josh went to school in the St George area and went to Dixie High and Dixie State where he was involved in baseball and other athletics. After completing his undergraduate studies at Dixie and SUU, Dr. Gunn graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in the Los Angeles area in 2001. He then moved back to St George to practice chiropractic with his dad until his passing in 2003.
